Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Carlo Cecchini, junior, King’s Fork High School volleyball: Cecchini totaled eight kills, 32 assists and seven aces in two Bulldog wins over the Cavs and Warriors.
• George Wise, junior, Nansemond River High School football: Wise rushed for more than 100 yards and two touchdowns in the Warriors’ win over the Cavs.
• Kaleigh Bell, senior, Lakeland High School field hockey: Bell had the shutout in the Lady Cavs’ 2-0 win over Oscar Smith High School.
