Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• JaQuelle Harrell, senior, Nansemond River High School football: Harrell led the team with two rushing touchdowns in the Warriors’ win over rival King’s Fork High School.
• Tyquan Holloman, senior, Lakeland High School football: Holloman tossed five touchdown passes in Lakeland’s first win of the season.
• Kaitlyn Brittingham, senior, Suffolk Christian Academy volleyball: Brittingham had 14 kills and five aces in the Lady Knights’ win over Oaktree Academy.
