The Lady Saints came in at No. 7 in this week’s Virginia Independent School Association field hockey poll.
The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy field hockey team remains in good shape in the Division II poll. Their No. 7 place is a couple of spots down from last week, but the Lady Saints are still in good shape to move back up and make a playoff run with the regular season coming to an end soon.
With a handful of games left, NSA can position themselves to be able to host a playoff game.
NSA will face Southampton High School on the road at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
