The Lakeland High School field hockey team went on the road and got a win against King’s Fork High School.

Lakeland finishes with an even record against its rivals for the 2018-2019 season. Last week, the Lady Cavs took a 2-1 loss to Nansemond River High School, but they bounced back against King’s Fork, taking a 7-1 win against the Lady Bulldogs Wednesday evening.

Sydney Beale led the way in scoring with three, with Ashton Moore adding two goals and Sarah Stansick adding two goals as well. Lakeland continues to put up impressive numbers in their last few games.
