Lillie Mae Harris

Lillie Mae Harris, 75, of John Henry Street, Windsor, transitioned Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Margaret Parker and McCoy Moore. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Junior Harris.

Lillie was a member of Sixth Street Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Darlene Harris (Elbert Riddick), of Windsor; two sons, Crispin A. Harris (Aletha) and Willie L. Harris (Andrea), both of Suffolk; two stepsons, Ronnie Harris (Holly), of Ephrata, Pa., and William J. Harris, of Suffolk; five sisters, Dorothea Scott, Martha Ann Holloman, Mary Lee Parker, Gloria Parker and Cassandra Brown; brother, Edward Lee Parker; eight grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at Sixth Street Baptist Church, 324 Goodman St.. Pastor Byron C. Joyce Sr. will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will be receiving guest at 24224 John Henry St., Windsor. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
