Helen “Nanny” Oretha Tynes, 96, of Isle of Wight County, peacefully passed away on Oct. 22, 2018, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, Ga. A viewing will be held from noon to 7 p.m., with visitation with the family starting at 5 p.m., on Tuesday, October 29, 2018, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at Chapel Grove United Church of Christ, 7366 W. Blackwater Road, Windsor, with the Rev. Dr. J.J. Ferguson officiating.
