Bertha R. Gibson, 79, of Nero Drive, Portsmouth, transitioned Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Maryview Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at First Baptist Church South Hill. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
