Shirley Melton, 63, transitioned on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Sentara Heart Hospital. She was born to the late Troy and Nadine Melton of Windsor. A visitation will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at the Greater Sweet Beulah Holiness Church, 137 Maple St., Suffolk. The home going service will take place at noon Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, also at the church. The Interment will take place following the service at the Tyler-King Cemetery in Windsor. Community Funeral Home in Norfolk has been entrusted with the arrangements.
