Suffolk Police have released an image captured from surveillance footage of a man they say robbed a gas station Friday evening.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-40s to 50s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, wearing a red, white and black windbreaker style jacket and tan jogger-style pants.

The robbery happened about 11:15 p.m. at the Speedway in the 1500 block of Holland Road.

The suspect fled on foot toward Manning Road following the robbery. A silver sedan may also be involved with the incident, the release stated.
