Three Lady Saints make All-Conference

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy volleyball team had three players selected to the all-conference teams.

The Lady Saints had another strong season in conference play. They were represented on both Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools all-conference teams. Rylee Bono and Addy Greene led the way with first-team all-conference selections. Livian Matthews was a second team selection.

The season as a whole recently wrapped up for the Lady Saints. They made it to the state semifinal game for the second year in a row. All three girls on the all-conference team were a part of the same run last year. All three players also made all-conference last season as well.

“I am honestly so proud of what we were able to accomplish,” Greene said. “We may not have gotten any hardware, but we grew so much as a team this year, and that is important. This was a very unique team. It’s not like the ones you see every day. We proved a lot, and I am so proud of that.”

NSA will likely have a representative or two on the all-state teams as well.
