Laura Virginia Carter, 97, departed this life on Nov. 30, 2018. A viewing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6 at the funeral home. A celebration of her life will begin at noon on Friday, Dec. 7, at Smith Brothers Chapel. She will be interred at Hampton National Cemetery (University Section).
