SCA dominates in first win

The Suffolk Christian Academy girls’ basketball team defeated Summit Christian Academy 45-10 on the road Tuesday night.
SCA got their first win of the season on the road Tuesday. They were able to top Summit by 35 points for an all-around team effort.
Laura Cornette led the way with 13 points and added four rebounds and two assists. Jadyn Patton had 12 points to go along with three assists. Heather Pearson added seven points to go along with five rebounds.
It was a much-needed win for the team, which had fallen in its first two games of the regular season. The Lady Knights will get back at it Monday, when they take on Great Bridge Christian Academy on the road at 5:30 p.m.
