The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team defeated Hampton Roads Academy at home Tuesday night.

The Lady Saints got back in the win column when they hosted their conference foe. NSA took a 49-31 win to start off a week of play.

Alivia Giles led the way for the Lady Saints, scoring 29 points. She also added 12 rebounds for a double-double. Defensively, NSA allowed only one double-digit scorer.

NSA will play again Saturday afternoon when they take on Kellam High School on the road at 2 p.m.
