Tammie Ellen Reid, 55, of Suffolk, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018. Tammie was predeceased by her father, Robert Earl Coles Jr., of Suffolk, and sister, Vickie Deloris McAdory, of Newport News. Tammie will be missed by her husband, Alvis Oscar Lee Reid; three sons, Elory Le’mark Coles, Alvis Aaron Lee Reid, Matthew Alexander Reid, all of Suffolk; her mother, Juanita Maria Coles; five siblings, Robbie Norveast Savage; Robert Earl Coles III (Karen); Sherion Jevon Overton; Jason Lemont Coles (April), all of Suffolk; Melonie Deon Johnson (Stephen), of Portsmouth; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. Tammie was always surrounded by children she loved and cared for, both hers and many others. She worked for years at Florence Bowser Elementary School in the cafeteria and worshipped as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1351 White Marsh Road, Suffolk.
