Carlton H. Cherry, 68, of Confederate Avenue, Portsmouth, transitioned Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at the Hampton VA Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Albert G.
