Lakeland High School grabbed a 63-43 home win over Great Bridge High School last Friday.
The Cavs moved to 13-6 with the win. It was a solid game for a Cavs team that had lost its two previous games prior to the Great Bridge game.
With three games left in the season, the Cavs have a chance to finish the season really strong. Back in December, Great Bridge gave Lakeland its first loss of the season in a 54-50 loss, but the Cavs got vengeance with the 20-point win.
Quentin Livingston had 11 points for Lakeland to lead the way.
Lakeland will go on the road for a matchup with Nansemond River High School Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Back in December, Lakeland took the first matchup when the team won the King’s Fork High School holiday tournament. However, in Lakeland’s only home matchup with Nansemond River, they dropped a close one. Lakeland will look to take the season series to 2-1.
