Suffolk Police have identified the deceased victim from Tuesday’s shooting as Leondrae Shaqil Johnson, 25, of Suffolk.

A second victim, Antonio Lamon Jefferson Jr., 23, of Suffolk, remains hospitalized, according to a city press release.

The shooting happened at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday at the Happy Shopper in the 600 block of East Washington Street.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information is available for release, the city stated.
