“Receiving All-District, All-Region and Player of the Year was big for me,” Boyette said. “Practice was always competitive this year, and my teammates always pushed me to get better. Rae Owens and Tavion Davis, those guys really pushed me every day, and I thank them for that.”

Beale, a freshman, earned All-Region honors after a strong season and a strong postseason. He had 13 points in the Bulldogs’ semifinal matchup against Churchland High School. Beale provided a strong season for the Bulldogs, and King’s Fork is excited about his future. He was also an honorable mention in the district.

Leontre Bailey and Tyler Chatman were both honorable mentions in the region. The Bulldogs had the No. 2 seed in the region after a strong regular season. It wasn’t until the region semifinals that the Bulldogs took their first loss to a Class 4 Region A team. King’s Fork came a game short of reaching the region championship and being able to advance to the state tournament

Next season, the Bulldogs expect to remain competitive within the region. It will be the third season under Coach Rick Hite’s direction.
