The Lakeland High School girls’ soccer team started the season off with a home victory Tuesday evening.

The Lady Cavs blanked Park View High School 3-0. Park View was a familiar opponent for Lakeland, which had defeated that same team last season on its way to the region semifinals game. Lakeland had three players score for them in the win.

Mikayla Grant, Callie White and Savannah Stevenson all scored a goal, with Grant and White assisting on goals as well.

Lakeland will take on Phoebus High School on the road Thursday afternoon.
