The Lady Warriors got their first win of the season on the road against Warwick High School.

The Nansemond River High School girls’ soccer team started their season off on a strong note with the 4-2 win. Four Lady Warriors were able to score a goal. Nansemond River had a 3-1 lead at halftime.

Emily Binley, Sarah Rhiel, Saleena Lynch and Roniah Cabler all scored goals for the Lady Warriors.

Nansemond River will face Kellam High School on the road Thursday evening.
