The Lady Cavs softball team picked up a win against Wilson High School Tuesday evening at home.

Lakeland High School took on Wilson in a non-district matchup. Lakeland took a 14-8 win. The Lady Cavs battled an early 7-3 deficit after two innings before cutting it down and eventually taking the lead. A solid third and fourth inning, where the Lady Cavs scored a combined seven runs to Wilson’s one, gave Lakeland a 10-8 lead. A four-run sixth inning for Lakeland wrapped up the scoring.

Hayleigh Presson was 3-4 with two RBIs. Dani Riddle went 2-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Kamryn Whitley went 2-4 with three RBIs.
