The Nansemond River High School girls’ soccer team picked up a close road win against Grafton High School Wednesday evening.

Saleena Lynch’s late goal with two minutes left in the game gave the Lady Warriors the 1-0 win. Grafton’s goalie had a nice performance, as the Lady Warriors outshot Grafton 19-2. Lynch’s goal was able to hit the back of the net for the game’s only score.

It was a good bounce back win for a Nansemond River team that recently faced a tough Kellam High School team.
