Warriors win sixth straight

The Nansemond River High School baseball team is now 6-0 after a win over Indian River High School Thursday evening.

The Warriors baseball team continued to roll with the 3-1 victory. It took a sixth-inning breakthrough for the Warriors to pick up the win. After the Warriors took the lead 1-0 after the second inning, Indian River scored in the third inning to tie the game.

Two runs by the Warriors in the sixth inning pushed them through for the win.

Nansemond River had three hits on the evening, with a home run from Nick Arnold. Ben Grady and Daulton Manning handled pitching duties, with Grady getting the win on the mound.
