Jean L. Fulcher, 91, entered into eternal slumber on Saturday, April 27, 2019. She was born on July 3, 1927, to the late James Duke Fulcher and Ruth Holland-Fulcher in Norfolk.

She graduated from North Carolina A&T University. She retired from Newport News Public Schools after many of years of teaching.

Jean leaves behind to cherish her memory, two beloved sisters, Ruth F. Smith (Louis) and Fannie L. Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Ms. Fulcher visitation will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place at noon on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Calvary Cemetery in Norfolk.
