The Nansemond River High School girls’ soccer team picked up a shutout win over Indian River High School Thursday evening.

Senior Sarah Rhiel recorded two hat tricks on the week in two wins for the Lady Warriors. She had a hat trick Thursday in Nansemond River’s 8-0 win. Sophie Mitchell also had a hat trick as both players combined for six of the Lady Warriors’ eight goals.

Nansemond River will match up with rival Lakeland High School at home at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
