Caleb Pittman struck out 12 batters and allowed just four hits as Nansemond River topped Indian River 3-0 Tuesday.

The Warriors go to 12-5 on the year, taking the season series after defeating Indian River 3-1 in late March.

Nansemond River staked out an early lead, scoring twice in the first. Pittman, who went the distance on the mound, went 2-for-3 at the plate, while Bryson Dansberry went 2-for-4 and scored a run.
