Lady Warriors shut out Lady Bulldogs

The Nansemond River High School girls’ soccer team shut out rival King’s Fork High School with a 4-0 win Tuesday evening.

The Lady Warriors secured the city championship for this spring with the win. They shut out both rivals, Lakeland High School and King’s Fork.

In the win against King’s Fork, Saleena Lynch led the way with two goals scored.

King’s Fork will get a chance to face off with Lakeland High School Thursday on the road at 5:30 p.m. Nansemond River will take on Hickory High School at home Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
