Micah Omar Koonce, 22, entered into eternal slumber Wednesday, May 15, 2019. He was born on July 26, 1996, to Guinelle Trower-Koonce and the late Michael O. Koonce. He was a 2014 graduate of Nansemond River High School.

A visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at noon Saturday, May 25, 2019, at First Baptist Church Mahan Street, and he will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
