Forgotten shadows

Everyone carries forgotten shadows that are waiting to be acknowledged in the spirit. The “size of [the] shadow depends on the distance between the light source and the object that blocks that light source.” Therefore, the image of your shadows has the tendency to decrease or increase depending on the location of your blocks.
We normally do not see the shadows in our lives because we look at them in a negative light; we avoid them. As a child, I was excited about forming hand shadows on the wall. I controlled my hands to make my gestures large or small. The show took place in between the light source and the object that was blocking the light source. There was freedom in between the light source and the object. My hands created. The object was not stopping my show. The objects in your life are not stopping your anointing because the light source is still shining on that thing that you have forgotten. Your hands will create passion.
It was a perfect day to enjoy the sun, pool and family. Everyone was having a great time, but the weather began to unexpectedly shift. As I looked towards the sky, the appearance of the sky began to change. During the shift, random objects began to blow around the yard, and the wind grew stronger. As we took cover in the house, the perfect day continued with dancing, conversations and laughter. The sun was now covered by gray clouds. All of a sudden, there was a loud bang that shook the house. The lights were out, and we sat in darkness, watching shadows on the wall. Although lightning struck the house, it also struck some new “forgotten feelings.” The outage shifted what felt perfect into what felt incomplete and imperfect.
My daughter jumped into my lap and covered her eyes. It was not the first time that we experienced an outage, so why was she afraid this time? As we prepared to take the drive home, she felt a sense of safety because she thought that she was getting away from the blocks that made her afraid. For the next two days, we noticed something different. She became afraid of the shadows on the wall. She must have seen the shadows during the outage at my mom’s house. I grew so frustrated with her fear that I decided to introduce her to the shadows on the wall. I had to help her confront the shadows. I had to show her that the shadows were not going to harm her. We began to make funny gestures, and she began to laugh at what once shook her. What shook you did not break you.
There are times in life when you will experience a physical shake or bang that will throw objects that will try to block the light source. There’s no need to be afraid of the shadows because you were not afraid of them when you were a child. Shadows will continue to form when something gets in the way. Instead of focusing on the shadows, you must move that object that is restricting the fullness of the light. Once you remove the object, the you will notice that the light will continue to get stronger. The light was and is ALWAYS present. God has not forgotten about you, and He is still shining His light on your perfect imperfect outage.
Put on a hand shadow show on your wall tonight. There is about to be some movement taking place in your life, and the light source will be shining on it. The gray clouds are moving. It’s OK to experience an outage in your life at times, because it is in an outage that you will be challenged to face the beauty of the shadows. It was in the outage that your blown transformer was just God’s explosion on you to release your passion in the light. The next time you experience your shadow, be still and see the Holy Spirit walking with you as the light. There are no forgotten shadows when the light will always be present. Your imperfect is perfect for Him. Outage restored.
