The Suffolk grand jury handed down 69 indictments against 36 defendants in its meeting last Monday.

Charles Leroy Griffin Jr. — assault and battery of law enforcement officer; street robbery

Marvin Antonio Haithcoatch — drive while habitual offender

Jermaine Renaldo Hall — embezzlement more than $500 (5 counts); larceny with intent to sell, more than $500 (5 counts); misdemeanor embezzlement (3 counts)

Ronnie Hayes — distribute heroin (2 counts); distribute Schedule I/II drugs

Joseph Wayne Hoover — assault and battery of family member, third offense

Joshua Lamar Hurt — embezzlement
