Do you have a hard time trusting God?
Talking to several people, I found out it’s hard on all of us at times. When I got out of high school, I really didn’t know what I would do. It seemed like I was lost. I didn’t know if I wanted to go to the military or go to a community college. I really thought I was headed down a dead end. I can still hear my pastor say after all these years, trust God all the way. You have to trust Him through the process in life, and you will be OK.
Sometimes when life looks dim, and things are not going as planned, we fail to put our trust in God. We sometimes try to take matters into our own hands, leaving Him out. We oftentimes walk by sight, and not by faith. What we have to remember is life is a process, and we must learn to trust God as we go through the process in life.
In the Old Testament, King Solomon says to trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; in all of your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.
Let the Lord do whatever He needs to do to build your life. Remember, God knows who you are, God knows where you are, and God knows what He wants you to be.
We have to trust Him through the process, and it may not look good at times. You may not be where you want to be at times. It may be a struggle sometimes, but He knows His plan He has for you.
I’m a living witness. As I look back over my life, I see that God was right there from day one. All I needed to do was trust Him. He won’t let you fail. Do you know why? It’s because He made you, you didn’t make yourself, and so wherever you are, just trust Him with all of your heart.
Keep His road map, which is His word, in you and never stop talking to Him along the way, and you will discover like me that you are moving through the process.
It’s never easy trusting God as you go through the process; however He will lead you and guide you in every step of the way. When it seems as though you have come to a dead end, know that He may be leading you in a different direction. Our life is already planned until the end. Just trust Him!
