The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ tennis team took a home loss to Steward School Tuesday afternoon.

The Lady Saints went face-to-face with Steward, the reigning Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II champions. They took a 1-8 win over the Lady Saints.

Molly Leavy won the only matchup for NSA, coming back from down a set to win at the No. 6 singles spot.

The loss puts NSA at 3-2 on the year. They will take on Walsingham Academy at home Thursday afternoon.
