Complete the Puzzle receives Walmart grant

Complete The Puzzle, Inc., an autism resource center based in Virginia, recently announced it has been honored with a $500 grant from Walmart in its bid to make more resources available for children and youth with developmental disabilities.

Issued through the company’s community grants program, the Walmart Foundation, the grant offered support for the backpack and school supply drive the organization held to provide supplies to children and youth with special needs.

“The generous support from the Walmart Foundation will make a significant impact on our organization and in the lives of the children we serve for years to come,” said Timiko Blackman Winn, the chief executive officer and founder of Complete The Puzzle, Inc. “The grant was helpful to the backpack and school supply drive that was delivered to the children and youth.
