The King’s Fork High School boys’ volleyball team had one representative earn All-Region honors.

Senior Bulldog Carlo Cecchini was selected to second team Class 4A team. Cecchini had a solid senior season for the Bulldogs, leading the way for the team as the team captain. He was instrumental in helping the Bulldogs earn a regional playoff bid and helped the Bulldogs to a second round regional finish. His coach, Angie Gatling, appreciates all he brings to the team.

“This guy always pushes himself beyond 100 percent for his team,” Gatling said. “He’s a great leader for us.”

During the season, Cecchini mentioned that personal goals were great; however, he just wanted to do his best and set an example for his team.

“The biggest thing I wanted to do was become a better leader,” Cecchini said. “Just wanted to do my best by leading through my play and vocally. I wanted to set an example for the rest of the guys. I am very proud I get to represent King’s Fork on the All-Region team.”
