Suffolk Police are investigating a single vehicle accident that happened Saturday morning.

The incident started at 10:30 a.m. when an officer attempted a traffic stop on westbound Route 58 near the weigh scales, according to a post on the Suffolk Police Department’s Facebook page.

The driver did not stop, but police did not engage in a pursuit with the vehicle, the post stated.

The vehicle was later involved in a single-vehicle crash on West Constance Road. No injuries were reported, but power was knocked out in the area due to the crash.

The accident remains under investigation. No additional information is available for release at this time.
