NR tops Grassfield

- Justin Fatherly scored 37 points in a Warriors win against Grassfield High School on Tuesday.
The Nansemond River High School boys’ basketball team bounced back against Grassfield High School 66-56.
The Warriors took a win over Grassfield Tuesday night after a loss to Western Branch High school. Justin Fatherly had another big game for the Warriors, going for 37 points along with 11 rebound, four steals and three blocked shots.
Nansemond River will have a non-conference matchup against Ocean Lakes High School Thursday night.
