Saints defeat HRA

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ basketball defeated Hampton Roads Academy 68-39 Tuesday night.
NSA goes to 12-3 on the season after a win over HRA. Grant Lopez led with 18 points for the Saints while Kaleb Brown added 12 points. The defense of the Saints held HRA to five-point outings in the first and third quarters.
In the most recent Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II poll, NSA ranked at No. 4. It is a strong start to the season for the Saints, with a chance to keep building as conference play goes on.
