The Lakeland High School girls’ basketball team got a win over Oscar Smith High School Tuesday night at home.

The Lady Cavs continue to close the latter half of the regular season strong with the 62-34 win over Oscar Smith. The double-digit win came behind another double-digit win against a non-conference opponent in Tabb High School Monday night.

In the win Tuesday night, Kemonye Canady led the way with 20 points for Lakeland, while Jamauri Demiel and Janajah Artis added 10 each.

Lakeland will go on the road Friday night to take on King’s Fork at 5:30 p.m.
