Fraud suspect wanted

Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a female subject wanted for alleged credit card fraud, according to a city press release.

The fraud occurred on Jan. 24. The unknown subject took a business credit card she found in the 2900 block of Godwin Boulevard and then proceeded to make numerous fraudulent purchases at several local businesses, the press release stated.

Photos of her from surveillance footage were released to the media.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Tipsters can also submit tips by going to www.p3tips.com or by visiting the Suffolk Police Department website at www.suffolkva.us/spd and looking for the Suffolk Crime Line link. Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
