Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Ke’monye Canady, sophomore, Lakeland High School basketball: Canady scored 18 points in a Lady Cavs win over Booker T. Washington High School for a region championship.
• Jayden Epps, sophomore, King’s Fork High School basketball: Epps scored 28 points in a region championship over Wilson High School for the Bulldogs.
