William Edgar “Willie” Griffin died on April 2, 2020. He was the son of Alma Jean G. Kerner and the late Joseph F. Griffin Jr.

Willie was a former welder, member of Somerton United Methodist Church and an avid Redskins fan.

He is survived by his mother, Alma Jean G. Kerner; sons, William Joseph Griffin and Anthony Michael Griffin; brothers, Joseph Griffin III and wife, Donna, Timothy Griffin and wife, Peggy, Kenneth Griffin and wife, Pammy; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Somerton United Methodist Church. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, will be serving the family. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
