Florence M. Batten, 93, transitioned on Saturday, April 11, 2020. A viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at Shivers Funeral Chapel. The burial will be private at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Batten is in the care of Shivers Funeral Chapel.
