Detectives from the Norfolk Police Department are investigating an undetermined death in Suffolk at the boat ramp at the Western Branch Reservoir.

Suffolk Emergency Communications received a call at 8:13 a.m. of a suspicious vehicle in the 4000 block of Girl Scout Road, according to Suffolk city spokeswoman Diana Klink. Officers responded and located an unresponsive adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Klink said the Norfolk Police Department is handling the investigation because the Western Branch Reservoir is Norfolk city property.

Norfolk Police Department Public Information Officer Noel Lipieko confirmed the details and said detectives are investigating. Foul play is not suspected, she added.
