Mr. Brian A. Bess, 50, departed this earthly life on June 9, 2020. Brian was a graduate of Churchland High School. He was a lifetime member of the East End Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Clementine Cooper Bess, and his father, Alexander Bess Jr. (Gail); his brothers, Derrick L. Bess (Paula), of Texas, and Alexander Bess III, of Texas; his sister, Kiana Danielle Bess, of Michigan. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Alexander Bess Sr. and Mary Blanche Bess, Elma Wiggins. He worked as a forklift driver for the Clover Leaf Trucking Co. Brian loved to sing with his group, Elite Revelation. A viewing will held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Harris Funeral Home, 685 Carolina Road, Suffolk. Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at the Holly Lawn Cemetery.
