Robert Earl “Shorty” Carr, a lifelong resident of Ivor, passed away on June 12, 2020. Born Oct. 1, 1953, he was a son of the late Willie and Dorothy Stover Carr. He was the owner and operator of Shorty’s Tree Service for more than 35 years. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Carr; brother, James Earl Carr; and sister, JoAnn Carr.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Calob Carr and Miles Carr; his daughter, Kristina Carr Jernigan (Brodie); grandchildren, Seth Daniels, Collin Carr and Maddison Jernigan; a brother Willie “Butch” Carr (Carolyn); and a loving friend, Jeannie Carr.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Ivor Cemetery. Condolences may be posted at www.rwbakerfh.com.
