The Suffolk Art League is offering an in-person camp and virtual art activities for students this summer.

Each Thursday through Aug. 20, Summer Art Days will be posted on Suffolk Art League’s Facebook page. Cindy Quesenberry is the returning instructor. The videos are free, and art material kits are available on the Suffolk Art League website for $1 per kit.

Two videos will be posted for different age groups to keep the projects age appropriate. Videos for children 5 to 8 will post at 10 a.m., and videos for 9- to 14-year-olds will release at 1 p.m.

An in-person Beach Party Summer Camp will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 3-7 at the Suffolk Art Gallery, 118 Bosely Ave. Sandee Darden and Meredith Kerr will be returning to lead this year’s art party.

Fish, seashells, mermaids, turtles and surfboards will be some of the inspiration for the beach-themed art projects. The cost of the camp is $75 for members and $85 for non-members. The last day to register is July 24.

Social distancing and masks will be required, along with other CDC guidelines. The facility will be cleaned each afternoon in preparation for the next day.
