Suffolk Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened early Saturday in the 4100 block of Holland Road.

The crash was reported at 1:11 a.m., according to a city press release. The single motorcycle left the roadway, and Suffolk Fire & Rescue personnel transported the driver to a local hospital, where the driver was pronounced deceased.

The driver has been identified as Troy J. Stephens, 33.

One lane of westbound Holland Road was closed for several hours as the crash was investigated.
