Gloria Jean Howell-Smith gained her wings on her birthday in Select Specialty Hospital in Savannah, Ga. A visitation will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Howell-Collins Family Cemetery.
