Police officer uninjured after vehicle shot

A Suffolk Police Department officer was uninjured when the officer’s vehicle was shot at in the area of the 200 block of North Broad Street on Tuesday evening.
The incident was reported at 7:25 p.m., according to a city press release.
The marked police vehicle was traveling in the area when it was shot three times, the release stated. The officer was uninjured.
“There is a large police presence in the immediate area as officers collect evidence and search for a suspect,” the release stated.
