A public information meeting about the Kings Highway Bridge study set for Thursday has been rescheduled.

Inclement weather expected on Thursday has postponed the outdoor meeting that was set for the entrance at Lone Star Lakes Park.

The event will now be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 10, also at the entrance to Lone Star Lakes Park. It will be an outdoor event, following state COVID-19 guidelines.

The first of the two public information meetings happened Wednesday at John Yeates Middle School.

The project is not currently funded, however, the city is seeking public input on the preferred location of a new bridge if one is to be constructed in the future.
